A video posted on TikTok shows a woman screaming at a mall in Las Vegas who is accused of punching a 6-year-old child in the neck.
In the video which has generated more than 800,000 views, a woman who goes by the handle @uhmmajo says the screaming woman struck her child.
“This woman attacked my son. She punched my 6 year old in the neck while yelling racist anti-Asian things,” a narrator says over the video.
It’s difficult to hear what the woman is saying, although she does utter the “F” word and something about China.
Toward the end of the video you hear a security guard ask her “What’s going on, ma’am.”
@Uhmmajo tags both #CrystalsMall and #AriaLasVegas. In Las Vegas, due to the hot weather, the casinos and the shops are connected by a long walkway that stretches down the Strip. It’s possible to walk down most of the strip without having to go outside.
AsAmNews reached out to The Shops at Crystals. The mall said there were two incidents involving the person in the video and that both occurred outside mall property.
“The incident you are referring to involving this family and the person in the video did not occur in The Shops at Crystals,” said a mall spokesperson. “The person in the video was escorted out of the mall for being disruptive before security was made aware of the earlier incident, which again occurred off-property. Upon being made aware of the earlier incident, security called police and assisted the family, including offering medical assistance.”
However, @Uhhmajo remains frustrated about how security handled the incident.
“Mall security just let her go. Yes, we are pressing charges,” wrote @Uhmmajo.
