Police in New York are hoping to find more victims of a suspected child molester, reports the New York Post.
John Russell, 59, is described as a former CUNY researcher. Police arrested him on accusations of molesting a 9-year-old girl until her 11th birthday. The victim who came forward at the age of 13 says Russell also asked her to photograph him having sex with another underage girl. The 13-year old’s youngest sister also told police he masturbated in front of her.
All the victims are said to be Asian girls. A law enforcement source told the Post Russell befriended all his victim’s parents.
Authorities released his photo in hopes that other victims might come forward.
The Brooklyn Paper reports the girl who first came forward says Russell touched her on the breasts, buttocks and her private areas, with his hands and with his genitals. Investigators say Russell has had prior arrests for similar charges.
