A TikTok video of a woman shouting at the staff of a Vietnamese restaurant because they didn’t have miso soup has gone viral, Daily Dot reports.
Whitney, or @nitwhit_ney’s, took the video at Pho Saigon in North Austin, Texas. In the video, a middle-aged white woman in a “Not today Satan” t-shirt can be seen shouting at the restaurant staff. She claimed the restaurant had messed up her order.
“Context: She came in asking for miso soup at a VIETNAMESE restaurant. The waiter asked her to repeat and she WENT OFF on all the Asian workers,” Whitney explained in the comment section of the TikTok video.
In the video, Whitney asked the woman was being so rude.
“I ordered it to go and they didn’t get it to go! How do they not f*cking understand to go?” the woman responded.
The woman also berated the staff for not speaking English.
“Next time, you should speak in f*cking English so they can get the order right,” the woman said after she was given her order.
Whitney explained that the other customers in the restaurant weren’t antagonizing the woman.
“I understand it looks like we were antagonizing her… I didn’t start to record until she started threatening the employees. She was SCREAMING at them to speak English,” Whitney said, according to Daily Dot.
