Netflix has announced the voice cast for its new animated series “Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld.”
The series will follow Jentry Chau, a Chinese American teenager living in a small Texas town who has been trying to suppress her supernatural powers her whole life. She soon finds a demon king is hunting her and must learn to fight off creatures from the underworld.
Comedian and actress Ali Wong will voice Jentry. Bowen Yang, Lori Tan Chinn, Lucy Liu, Jimmy O. Yang, Sheng Wang, and Woosung Kim will also be a part of the voice cast.
Echo Wu is the series’ creator and showrunner. It is Wu’s first time serving as a showrunner. Wong and Aron Eli Coleite (Locke & Key) will executive produce alongside Wu.
It is unclear when the show will be available for streaming.
