Boston Globe: Second graders protest lack of library in Boston Chinatown

“If you read to your child for an hour every night, by the time your child is 5 years old you will have read 900 hours,” said second grader Lonnie Zapata.

The protest was organized by Young Achievers School in Mattapan who approached the Chinese Progressive Association about the idea.
